I've been powder coating brass cartridges and 24k pen parts with a clear finish.

The brass cartridges appear to be ok - but I'm uncertain what (if anything) I have accomplished with my attempt to improve the finish durability of the 24k pen parts.

I'd like to think the powder coated pen parts have the plating durability of upgraded gold or titanium - but don't know.

Can anyone advise ?

Thanks

Diffrent plating. THe 24k may wear smoothly in high used sopts, but the PC will chip like the paint on your car leaving nicks. The PC is far harder than your car (Unless it's a new BMW which has PC finish on it when new You will not make 24k like gold Ti, you will make it like a copper kit to compare it with another kit.

I would advise against it.
