No centerband pens

First batch of click and twist pens with no centerband.
Got the idea & howto from Don @ Red River Pens
All were finished with MM and then 5 or 6 coats of Woodoc 20 poly and then a coat of Woodoc antique wax.
Woods are all local and are:
African Blackwood
Red Ivory
Red Coastal Milkwood
Spalted Black Alder - Spalted Quor
White Ironwood
White Coastal Milkwood.

Thanks Peter. The picture does not show it but there is marvellous figure in the upper part.
Would like to try some with carbon fibre or other castings but need some better tools Maybe in the future

The all look great from here in Texas. Nice execution on all. I particularly like the red ivory also. It is fun to make unique and interesting pens from the various 7mm kits. Thanks for sharing.

I was curious how do you twist the pen when it has a whole blank?

Hold the nib and twist the barrel. Look here and you will understand how it works.
