looking for some scottish wood

I am making a pen for my cousin and he recently reserched our family tree back to scotland. I want to make his pen out of some bog wood if I can find any, or something native to scotland. The pen is going to be an emperor in 22k. any ideas guys?

Might be tough to get bog oak in that size; most are pretty small. Try sending a PM to Ligget (Mark Ligget) - he's in Scottland and may be able to lend a hand.
