Hello, I made a Rhodium Venus Fountain pen with black with white web tru-stone.

Anyway it seems as if there is a bur in the threads, sometimes the cap feels as if it does not want to screw on and sometimes it goes on with no trouble.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know what the problem might be, and how to fix it?

I believe that this kit has the same parts or plastic threads as the Rhodium Jr Gentlemen's II, statesmen pens, and Emperor pen kits.

Thanks

It sounds like you recieved the older generation pink gender threads that don't always like to screw.

If you contact CSUSA, they will send you a newer blue gender thread set that will always screw.

That should take care of the problem.

This is correct. Please contact Customer Service (800-551-8876 ext 1) and let them know you have some defective threads. They will send you out a new set of couplers.
