Hi,

Really like the Long-Click kit (dayacom) and wondered whether there was a Pencil version? Not keen on many of the pencil kits, possible the Cigar is the best of the bunch I've tried, but think the Long-Clicker looks an ideal base for one?

Any ideas?

There used to be a pencil version of it which I liked very much.
It appears now that it has been discontinued by ALL suppliers that I can find that used to carry it. Even Dayacom doesn't show it on their site.
If anyone knows of a source, I'd be interested also.

I just modified the kit to accept the Schmidt mechanical pencil mechanism for a family member. I had to cut the tube to 4" and I sanded the lip at the back of the mechanism so it would slide further into the clicker. The only thing I did not like is the nibs hole diameter lets the mechanism protrude too far but that could be adjusted by putting some type material into the nib and drilling to fit the pencil tip. I plan on trying this and I do not think you would have to shorten the tube maybe just sand the end a little. The pencil works really well so I foresee no problems with the modifications.
Hope this helps
