Hello my friends. Stopping in to look at the goods, admire the app and just say hi. I'm also wondering if anyone might have and of the plastic threads for an Artisan Jr Gent 2. I have a customer who had the threads wear out. I may also call CSUSA. Thanks!

If you can't find the replacement part, it may be possible create new threads using a "cast-in-place" technique using epoxy. Coat the threads with a thin film of mold release (silicone grease works good) and apply epoxy to the tube with the stripped threads and insert the threaded piece with a twisting motion - allow to set up. Monitor the extra epoxy on the applicator and as it begins to set gently twist the pieces to ensure they aren't being glued together (i.e. the mold release is not doing its job) and to help set the threads.

I've done this as a test and it worked great.
