Craft Supplies web site says it uses the standard bushings. Click on Download Instructions on the kit page and read the PDF file, it's in the section on turning the pen.

Craft Supplies lists the bushings as the same part
number as for the regular slimline twist pen.
The instructions I got with the ONE I ordered
show the small bushing in the center, and some lame
reference to "considerable design freedom".[:0]
It is easier to me to get the regular slim kit,
and a set of 7mm european tubes, use the longer tube
on the lower. As far as sizes in the center,I shoot
for about .470-.490 on the upper and .410-.430 on lower.
Hope this helps.

I agee with JohnnyCNC.

I went through the same dilemma that you are going through and even called CS for clarification. I don't think there was even a center bushing included in the package I received. I eventually understood their intention.

One thing you could do is to use a European pen center bushing and turn to that dimension.

The best thing though is to just buy the slimline pen kit and ignore the center bushing and turn to the dimension you want. I use crescent wrenches to size the dimensions. 7/16 for the clip end at the center and 3/8 for the adjoining tip end. It ends up with a nice European pen appearance without a center band.
