Hi all.
I have just finished making a pen & pencil set for my youngest - based on the same principle as the two bolt pens that I made my eldest at Christmas. The pen uses the Berea Atrax ballpoint and the pencil uses the toolbox pen made in China and marketed world-wide.
I made the bodies from aluminium and tried to create items that look like engineer's taps. I then anodised them and dyed them black. The finials (squared off to look as though a tap-wrench would grip them) are made from brass that I chrome plated. The pen extends / retracts by twisting the finial and the pencil finial operates the pencil clutch and holds the pencil sharpener.
