The first one is the moon Glo blank i got from Butch, Thanks again. The secon one was made from zebra wood I cut up today. I have a bunch of this, so i wanted to try a different cut. I inlaid some aluminum in it as well. I made this one for an old friend.

Beautiful Brian . You have any problems turning it ? I discovered it's best to use epoxy to glue in the tubes after a spectacular blow up , Pieces of blank shooting in all directions . After I found a big piece of it I discovered the CA didn't stick the blank to the tube too well .

Butch,
I really enjoyed turning it. I did use epoxy as a preventative measure. I did have to sharpen my tools a few times due to the outstanding quality of the blanks. It seemed that the casting was very tight almost like a really dense wood. It was a little bit of a challenge but overall, I enjoyed it. It took a regular mm to 12000, and hut perfect polish really well with no scratches.
So it is safe to say, I am impressed. Thanks again.

Glad you had no problems turning it . I try to pack as much glo chips as I can into each blank but still leave enough PR to hold it all together . Thanks for posting it .
