Hi All,

Here is my first attempt at a fountain pen, and also my first Corn Cob.

The later first I can thank Mark Ligget for kindly giving me the corn cobs - Cheers Mark.

The Fountain pen was a bit of an adventure. I bought the kits, but didn't have an assembly diagram.

Looked at Craft Supplies USA for a similar style of kit, and tried to work it out from there.

Ended up leaving 4mm off the lid top to attach the centre band mount.

Appears to work, but cant understand why they didnt supply an assemby piece for this.

Anyhow, comments are welcome.

Very intersting combonation with the corncob and a removable cap pen but I think ya nailed it. I am guessing the cob was stablized? Nice red heue but kinda plump. Great job

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the comments.

The Cob wasn't stabalised as such, but I did use thin CA when I got close to the bushings to ensure I didn't get a blow out.

Very nice finish, and a very rewarding pen to make. Thanks again Mark.
