Tritons have become one of my favorite, smaller postable pens. Like the Jr. Gent, they have simple and clean lines, IMHO.

Anyway, the first one is a fountain dressed in a purple and gold Ankrom blank. They make beautiful blanks, but they are a little tricker to turn for me. In person, I think this is one of the best pens I've done, and is really handsome. I gave it a pronounced barrell shape. What do you think?

The second one is a roller ball dyed purple maple burl, that I made pretty streamlined (just followed the bushings). Seems that ladies like a more tapered pen, in my experience.

Purple is my favorite color, so you'll probably see more of those from me, in various pen styles !

Comments and criticism welcomed.

Hope everybody has a great weekend.

Roger

Both are very nice looking. Great job on both. I like the Triton. It gives you that upscale look without a big hit to the pocket book. My first $100 pen sale was a Triton fountain pen.
