Sorry the pics aren't better. Light in here leaves a little to be desired. I hope the ones here at least convey the idea well enough to pass muster. I had these strips of scrap that was trimmed off a slab to square it up. This was in a box of scraps Brooks was kind enough to share with me so I could get some practice on the resins, and it also had the side effect of pushing me to make a few castings of my own before I ran out of money to keep casting. Dad made the blank after I told him the idea I had for it, and I made it dizzy and assembled. Finish isn't my best ever, but after the day I had yesterday I decided I'd pick my battles. The pictures can not convey just how much light bounces around inside the resin and I still wish I had some full size blanks from this slab. I think I can get one or two more comfort twists out of what I have left before my supply is gone for good. The timber is black walnut.

Have to agree on the finish, but otherwise I like it! Didn't I get a roadster of this blank done by you at the Christmas swap in Atl?

I'm pretty sure you did. I can probably find a picture of it somewhere.....

On second thought, I've made a good few from those scraps. Can't begin to guess which one of those you ended up with.
