but this time I love it. I guess if I used stablized blanks it would be easier. I think this turned out nice. I still need to learn to use my camera. Second pen is Burl Maple. Building inventory for the Christmas shows.

I have been working hard on the CA finish... added a fan to push away the smell.... plus low RPM on the new Delta lathe helps.

Love the pen and also hate working with burl That is not stableized. As far as smell.. I mounted my DC to the wall next to the lathe. Put a 4"
hole in the wall with Flex dryer duct and dryer vent on the ouside wall. And then flexible aluminum 4" line so I can rest it next to or below the lathe to pull the dust, vapors, shavings etc right outside. No more dust. Chemicals. Smell. Now the backyard gets it.

I love Buckeye Burl and your pens look great! I have gotten some really nice BEB from A.S. Stabilized is the way to go! :)
