I love these blanks but photographing them is impossible. I've tried everything and this is as good as I can get. Using Canon Rebel with homemade light box and 100mm Canon macro lens.

I wish you could see it in person, it's an amazing blank.

A very Different Blank, you look at it, First you see it, Then you don't.
Would it Photograph with some back lighting against a darker background?
That way the "transparent wavy outline" may be more visable.
I love the way it plays with your sight and mind.
I can't comment on the Fit or Finish, as I can't really see it.
It must have been difficult to Turn and Finish.

LOL Stephen I understand....completely!!! I think the camera just can not see what the human eye does with these...no matter how hard you try!

Great looking pen BTW!!! Bet it sells well for you!

I just got a couple of those blanks and the weather will cooperate to let me in the shop this weekend to turn them
