Second Attempt Basket Weave

Ok here is my second attempt at a herring bone/basket weave pen.. Sorry for the lousy pics but I stink at Camera....

This is a Ti and Gold Wallstreet Elegant with a Orange Osage. My first blank didn't turn out too bad but was made from Bolivian Rosewood and was so dard you could really see the detail.. Thanks for looking and comments welcome...

You've done pretty well for yourself. I agree that the lighter woods seem to work better in this pattern.

That's beautiful. The weave looks great in the lighter colored wood and matches the kit very well.
