This was my first attempt at monkeyin' around with the scroll saw. This is a Black Ti and Platinum Wall Street II with Ebony, Dark Lace Sheoak, Aluminum and Brass. CA finish. It's a nice pen, I am pleased with the concept but definitely need to work more with that saw. This is for a Christmas present.

Thanks for checkin' it out. All comments are welcome.

P.S. - Is it inappropriate to wear too much CA after Labor Day???

Very good looking. Creative.

I love working with aluminum and brass with segments. For me, it is fun to work with (most of the time) and really enhances segments well.

Great job on the pen. What glue did you use to glue the segments??? Did you glue it up all at one time???

Not bad for just monkeying around. Are you in the shop everyday?
You have kicked out some nice ones lately.

You say comments welcome, so..from here the metal inlays
seem to stop mid flow,if that makes any sense whatsoever,
as if the center was made up and it's ends sliced off before the lighter
wood was added on.
Nice pen, just a visual observation on my part.:)

CA after Labor Day??!! good grief, man.
White blazer to go with that?:biggrin:

Looking good Steve. Glad you wiped the dust off the scroll saw :) I like the concept of a segment within a segment, an idea I've been tossing around as well.
