I've touched on this concept in the past, but never really explored it. I swirled blue resin with clear. Reverse painting the holes different colors results in DRASTICALLY different results. One pen I did black, the other white.

I love this idea, as I can now have a stock of just a few colored blanks, and modify the colors to fit the kit/customer.

Here they are together. The black and blue pen is a modified chrome slim with Silver Mine for the center band. The white and blue pen is a Diva with blue crystals:

The best part of this is you get huge depth in the swirls since the contrasting color is clear. So a three dimensional swirl is seen. Amazing in hand!

Wow! What a difference! I am just beginning to turn more acrylic, and this really illustrates the effect of the color you paint the inside of the blank.

They are both gorgeous.
