With my wife working and my immediate family being out of town I had alot of free time today. I spent some of that time in the shop doing something I don't get to do as much as I'd like...TURN! Here are the 3 I made earlier.

First is a Black & Gold Ti Le Roi. The blank is one of my own and was reverse painted black. It was hard to get a good pic of the color differences but there are 4 shades of red/orange in there.

Second is a Rhodium & Black Ti Sierra. The blank is again one of mine and was reverse painted blue. I was really happy when I saw how it looked when I turned the lathe off!

Last but not least is a Black Ti Jr. Gent II FP. I exchanged the nib for a Bock. The blank is mine and I reverse painted this one a dark navy blue.

The finish on all of them was MM to 12000 and polished with PlastX. I also want to give a HUGE thank you to my good friend Hans for sending me some sandpaper. I was all out and he sent some out to me to last until I can get to my supplier. As always thanks for looking! Hope you all had a great Turkey Day. I get to celebrate mine tomorrow

Always amazed with these blanks! As it turns out my trip to Europe was pulled so I'm back in VA for a couple weeks.

Happy holidays Jonathon

Thanks Tim! Hey, now you'll hopefully get some play time of your own now.

Jonathon,

Gorgeous as always! You sure that last one is a JR? It sure looks beefy (and not postable).

Thanks Jason! I thought the same thing when I looked at the pics. It must be the angle I shot at or something, it does look bigger than normal. Well, I guess it's true about the camera adding 10lbs . It is a Jr for sure though, used 10.5 & 12.5 tubes. It has the smooth end so it's not postable. I personally thing it woulda looked better on rhodium plating but I don't have any here and don't plan on buying any soon.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Yawn:yawn:. Just looks like another collection of one of a kind killer blanks. Perfectly fit to the components with a flawless finish.

In other words, what a lot of us here wish we could do. Great job (as usual) Jonathon.
