after a dozen or so Slimlines, I tried cigar pens, like the hefty size and feel in my hand and ability to show more woodgrain, my photography is lousy, low res digital on a sheet of paper with macro setting, will work on that too, species are from top to bottom
Buckthorn, Bloodwood, Cherry, finish is HUT friction polish and a coat of their "white stick stuff"

Looking good Paul. The cigar is a nice second kit to learn. Now you need to study some of the finishing techniques mentioned on the site. Your work deserves a better finish than the Hut FP as it will not last long at all.

nice pens paul, you are right, photo needs work ( like me )
hut white stick ( like me did ) and cav is right . try ca, you will find it lasts longer and is better ( like me )[;)]
