A matched trio

This is the payment for my logo design. The pen and sketch pencil he is aware of, the stylus is a little kicker for his iPad.

These are all cut from the same block of hickory. The stylus is an actual off-cut from the sketch pencil. I like 'em

Sketch pencil, Navigator, and Bear Tooth key chain stylus.

How did you get the color in the hickory? All of the hickory I have gotten my hands on is much much lighter.

Other than adding a coat of BLO to the raw wood before putting the CA over top, that's not too far from how it was cut off the block.

This is some hickory I've been sitting on for some time in the garage. Justurnin (Chris) sent it to me quite some time ago and I'm just now tapping into it.
