Harry,

After the tree fell due to disease and a storm it was donated to our wood turning club, so that it could be used to make bowls, pens, boxes and so on. Each piece is numbered or categorized by "the wood turners of the Virginia's" a lot of the pieces are donated for charitable auctions and others a certain percentage of sales are given to charity, such a The Wounded Warrior Project!

I used Turners Select Crushed Stone Powder Sleeping Beauty Turquoise.
I used the fine powder, it seemed to finish very well!
