Thought you guys might be interested in the material used to make this pen.
Its called 'Richlite' and hails from your side of the Pond.
I picked some up at a UK trade show a few months ago and tried it yesterday.
It's made from recycled paper, layered and compressed to form cladding and worktops.
Quite easy to work but use a very sharp tool. It sands easily (dry) and the only finish it needs is a coat or two of mineral oil.
Seven 'mother earth/autumnal' colours available presented in a nice sample box if you can lay your hands on some.
