Thought you guys might be interested in the material used to make this pen.
Its called 'Richlite' and hails from your side of the Pond.

I picked some up at a UK trade show a few months ago and tried it yesterday.
It's made from recycled paper, layered and compressed to form cladding and worktops.
Quite easy to work but use a very sharp tool. It sands easily (dry) and the only finish it needs is a coat or two of mineral oil.
Seven 'mother earth/autumnal' colours available presented in a nice sample box if you can lay your hands on some.
regards, talbot

Nice looking pen, and since it's made out of paper, wouldn't it still be considered a wood pen too?

it would be a little hard to use the pen to write on itself though, usually you write on paper not write with it.

nice looking pen it reminds me of maple and purple heart
