Finally got back into the workshop after a couple of weeks. This is a Knight's Armor Pen in Antique Brass with Zebra wood.

The wood under the pen is glued up and cut into blanks, can't wait to see how they turn out...later this weekend.

Be the first spalted piece of the stuff I've ever seen....

The fit-n-finish looks great!!!

The board I cut it from is about 4 feet long, nice straight grain all the way down except the end I used for this, the grain gets all twisted and looks pretty cool. And yes it does stink when being turned...smells awful...almost makes your eyes water if you get too close :)
