In "Burnt Copper" from Dawn at www.exoticblanks.com

As many of you are aware, it's really hard to get a photo that do these blanks justice.

I'm pleased with the pen though.

Very nice Jr. I love the looks of that blank. I have not done anything other than wood in that pen, but it appears that I will have to give it a shot. I love the Majestic and Majestic Jr's appearances.

Great work!!!

Thanks for the kind comments :)

Nate, it only became a PR because the nice burr elm I had earmarked for it was too small and I was desperate to see a finished kit.

The blank is superb though and I can't recommend it highly enough.

That looks great .. almost like a redwood burl. I can tell what you mean
about the blank not photographing well.. it looks like the reflections would
interfere with the metering so you can't get a good shot of the depth, and
the highlights would interfere with getting good color saturation.

Still looks great from here..

You can send it to me, I would be happy to try to take a better photo. LOL.. The finish looks great. I just did a JR. kit and I find it a bit heavy also with the cap posted.
