i've been wanting to try a corncob pen for quite some time and now that i'm back in iowa, it was inevitable. during a walk across a corn field this spring, prior to plowing, i picked a few up. i didn't use nearly enough CA on my first attempt. i used a copper sierra and some yellow food coloring to try and mimic the 'cardinal and gold' of iowa state university, but it doesn't do the university justice. thanks for checking it out. :)

I just finished a corncob yesterday. My first one also. It was fun, I did it on an Carbara kit. I bought a stabilized cob to turn mine, next time I will go to a pet store and get some squirrel cobs.

Nice job you did.
