This is a picture of some of the pens that I turned for the turn-a-thon that the Bayou Woodturners held on November 8th at their club meeting. Over 300 pens,some turned at members homes, along with the ones turned at the meeting were turned. Also, the Times Picayune came out and wrote a nice article about the event. It was a very productive gathering and everyone had a great time doing something to show their support for our troops. We all wish them Godspeed and a safe return home to their families and loved ones. Nice group of pens and definitely a good cause. Although I still like the photo that got sent back to me by one of our guys in Afghanistan better.
