First Pen Tries

I have been turning pens for about 2 months now. Here is an early attempt.

Bloodwood Slimline with burned grooves - My 9 year old son helped me with this one.

This is a Forest Green acrylic European with Satin Pearl finish.

and finally, my first try at a knot pen, bloodwood with Maple

Thanks for all the cool ideas everyone has shared. Plenty of inspiration for a new turner on this site.

Good start Dan. Nice variety. Keep turning em out as long as it's fun! The most valuable thing was not the pens but that you did it with your son.
