First Pen Picture

I've only been turning pens now for a week, so take that into consideration

Slimline set, modified. Middle is two guitar picks.

I of course forgot to write down the wood, but it is the softer wood included in PSI's pen turners starter kit.

I wanted to try something a little different than the straight slimline, I think it turned out fairly nice.

Padauk sounds right from what I remember reading on the package

Forgot, did a shellac couting on it, 4 applications.

I like the use of the guitar pick... my first centerbandless "fatline" doesn't have anything in the middle, and I think it would look better with a narrow contrast band like you have.

looks good! I want to start doing more of these since you're not locked down to someone else's idea of a pleasing size
