First Celtic Knot

After seeing the pens with celtic knots that Mike and George made I thought it was time to try one. The knot is made from Paduk, Walnut, Purpleheart, and Yellow heart on a slightly curly maple blank.

That is a great celtic knot. Even more impressive for a first try.

Ya gotta love it when a plan comes together, looks nice. These sure are a lot of fun constructing aren't they? I did two more today experimenting with blade widths.
