first 30-06 pen

my first 30-06 pen.
the wood is a kentucky whiskey barrel stave.
the picture is not great[B)]
so far my picture taking skills are not as good as my pen turning skills.

Nice job! I was just today thinking about putting a gun metal kit on the brass casing. After seeing yours I'll have to give it a try.

Very nice pen,,My stepson went to cabela`s over week end and brought back a bag of 100 30-06 unprimed brass shells,I drilled one and they are a lot less hassle to drill the primer end out..So i guess i will be busy over winter.. They were 28.99 Carl
