My first "Higher-End" pen. Ti-Gold and Sterling Cambridge with Figured Mesquite. (The blank was a lagniappe that came with a first order I made with a supplier). I was thinking I was going to sell this, but now that it's done it's going to be MINE, MINE I TELL YOU!!!! I doubt I'll carry it every day, it's a bit big in my mind for that, but it's a keeper.

Finish is straight CA, I prepped the wood by sanding thru 600 grit, and then sanded with Mylands Sanding Sealer (I just have had better luck with that than sanding the CA slurry). Sanded 12000, apply CA, wet sand starting at 600, up thru 12000, buff and done.

The wood has HUGE movement in it, This may be the best pen I've done to date.

Enjoy,

Steve
Oh, the stuff that looks like a booger on the end of the little support for the pen, well, it's not. (that's something I tossed together for this, the OTHER end was the one that was one that was supposed to show)
