Diamondwood split & segmented.

I did this a ocuple of weeks ago and finally have some time to try and post something. I have really enjoyed reading all of the great info, photos, and talking with a few of you. I split the diamondwood blank lengthwise, reglued it and then cut into segments with some red wood that I received from my uncle. Also learning to photograph these things, reduce the file sizes and get them loaded.

The red purple looking wood is veneer similar to diamondwood but all the same color and layed up like plywood, density and turning characteristics of diamondwood.
