I picked up a couple of corncobs from the Georgia meeting last month and proceeded to destroying most of them. After a little research I figured out it was Packrat and was able to find him to get another in hopes of finishing my pen. Well he went above and beyond and sent me a box of them. I would like to show the results and give a big THANKS for them.

Nice finish. I really like the color in the top. I have never done a corncob pen but living here in North Dakota I am sure I should. I think some of the farmers would probably like a pen from a corncob blank. One from their field. HWH

How big were your cobs? Most of out corn here is hybrid with big cobs. I don't think that would work for a beautiful pen such as yours.
