Coffee & Cream blank from Slabs Blanks & Boards. Back painted with a tan/coffee colored shimmering paint designed to paint/write letters on clothes - something from my daughter's box of craft stuff. It really shimmers when the light hits it.

My wife said it looks like caramel is in her coffee.

Very cool!! Great Job. Do you notice any of the color you reverse painted showing through?

I found the bottle of paint - it is called "Scribbles" Iridescent Golden Brown.

Yes, you can notice some of the color showing through in regular light - I think the color I chose matches the blank pretty well. But when the sun or direct lighting hits it really shines and there appears to be a lot of depth to it.

This was my first Executive style pen and the pen blank ends up being super thin on this kit.
