Celtic Cross and Strawberrywood burl

This was a custom Order I recieved. The lady wanted Celtic knott with a sirera style pen in Black Titanium. Top that off she wanted me to use Strawberry tree wood, burl prefered. WOW was a pressed to fill this one. Thank you to all of you folks for pointing me to Woodwhimsies for the kit it's perfect and the Strawberrywood is cool to work with, this burl changed directions I swear dozens of times as I went through the layers. Danish oil and a lot of CAto finalize it.

The celtic Knott is on the gold band between the wood and the Black Titanium sorry for photo quality. YES it is also called madrone.

nice looking pen.

When I read strawberry tree it made me laugh because I know that strawberries are grown only inches off the ground, I wonder how many people think that they grow on that tree.
