Anyone else turned this stuff yet? It is the hardest trustone I've ever turned. If it didn't look so good, I wouldn't have finished it. It is evil. It eats your tools for a light snack. On the lower barrel, I cut it down very close to the bushings with my Jim Saw.

The piccie doesn't do it justice. It's my new favorite.

I like it. Sounds like carbide tooling would work well. Did you get the material from a woodworking supply in a pen blank size or from the company that makes it in a bigger block?

AZ Sil has it. It comes in 3/4th and 7/8ths but BB was out of the smaller size. So it was that much more work.

I'll need blocks of it to be able to use it in my rings. I didn't see it on the site of the people that make it as of yet. I imagine it turns like lapis, which is some darn hard stuff.
