Bullet pen

First time making a bullet pen. I wanted to try how the camo blanks turned out before I make a pen for my brother who is retiring from the army as a captain. I will be making him a 50 cal pen with an acrylic camo blank. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can shine up the brass on the bullet?

Is that from a kit or did you develop it yourself? It doesn't look like the ones I've seen. I have a cartridge I'd like to turn into a pen, but don't really know where to start. To polish the brass you could try Brasso, but it might not last. (Not that I've done it.)

First on the PSI twist bullet the body should be almost straight through unless you like the bulb look. On the 50 cal I have sanded with fine sandpaper then followed with fine steel wool then some car wax. There are still fine lines from sanding and it still tarnishes. Brasso will work but it needs to be done often if he wants it to stay shinny.

Looks good. As mentioned before-I would turn the middle section down alittle more.
