NOT me

Spent some time with that other material most other pen turners use. I got a sample of that new stick fast CA and wanted to give it a try. I like it better than the CA I've been using (hobby lobby brand). All have the same CA finish that was MM to 12000 and polished with PlastX. Thanks for looking yall!

First is an Amboyna Burl Le Roi:

Jonathon,
What's the name of the CA and where did you get it? Sorry if I missed the post.

Looking good! strange, I'm selling more wood pens right now, but I don't have that many. Guess I will have to learn like you.

I'm waiting like a vulture to see you make an "undesirable" pen.... I don't think its happening anytime soon!!!!

All joking aside nice work!!! You should do some more wooden ones.

I think I've been involved in the closest thing you could call an "undesireable" pen. The blank was handed off to me, and it's a BRILLIANT idea that just needs a little refinement. I hope to see the results of further experimentation as it was still a nice piece of work.

I didn't think you owned any wood to turn Jonathon...? These look awesome and I really like the finish. I've honestly become lazy having turned acrylics...I really don't like the idea of doing layer after layer of CA, but it's coming!

Great pens!

Jonathan as always your work is top shelf, Tim thats the beauty of the Stick-Fast finishing system it's made for us lazy acrylic turners, in 5-7 minutes your done and have a hard glass like finish

Thanks everyone! I had fun turning these. Roy, you're absolutely right about it taking no time at all to do the finishes. I was impressed at how well it coated the blanks.

WOW those look amazing! Great job on the pens and the pictures. Now I have to see if I can find some wood that looks as good as those do.
