Below is a picture of two bakelite pens. The top is a Jr. Retro the bottom is a KC twist. Both Rhodium plating. Now for the interesting part. I got some 1.25" bakelite. With careful cutting and drilling, I was able to get both of these pens out of one 4.5" section. Comments welcome.

Thanks Louis, ripping bakelite will certainly increase your pucker factor if you know what I mean.

That's an awesome looking pair. The Bakelite is impressive. Getting both out of the one piece is even more impressive. Nicely Done.

Nicely done... I've often wondered if more than one pen could be had from that size rod. Now I know it can be done. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words all. David, I wondered the same thing and was stupid enough to try to rip it down.
