4-win 360 herringbone acrylic pen

In my latest post I shared a different way to make a 360 herringbone pen that has 6 wins, 6 segments make one full turn, for that I use a 3D printed core where the wood segments are inserted. In this thread I'm sharing a new design, at lest for me, for a 4 win 360 herringbone pen, 4 segments make a full revolution. Here the acrylic segments are shaped to accommodate this complex pattern without a core. Funny enough the 4-win patter was more challenging to design. Hope you like them and please share if you had done this type of pattern before.

Haha, probably I think like an octopus, because it was easy one piece at a time using a tube to get in it Al concentricity support.

Thanks! I use rubber bands to hold them in place
