This software was created by unpaid volunteers working toward a common goal.  It is not perfect.  Please list any problems you have with specific browsers or versions below.  You are encouraged to post any work-around or solution to the situation.

Internet Explorer Version 6

The Edit command "Alt-Shift-E" doesn't work to start the edit mode on a page.  Click on the "edit" tab at the top of page to start editing.

FireFox

Mouse context menus

Enable cut, copy, and paste in Javascript mouse context menus.

If you are comfortable altering the Firefox configuration file, you can enable Javascript cut, copy, and paste with mouse context menus.  Please see this Mozilla page (external link) for information on how to allow Javascript access to your clipboard.  There is also an Add-in that will do this automatically.  This has security implications and you should only enable this option for web sites you trust.

Using Firefox Context menus and Spell Checking

The Keyboard shortcuts for Cut (Ctrl-X), Copy (Ctrl-C), and Paste (Ctrl-V) are enabled by default, but the mouse context menu is not.  The context process does not allow sharing the context menu.  You can either select the Javascript menu (default option) or use the normal Firefox menus but you cannot have it both ways.  This is not recommended because some Table Editing and Link Operations in the Wiki will be blocked.  This option affects all web sites.

On the Firefox browser, Click on "Tools", "Options", "Content" tab.  To the right of the "Enable Javascript" check box, click on "Advanced...", then put a check mark in the "Disable or Replace context menus".
