inside a piece of wood. Which is one of the reasons I like working with it so much. Some folks find anatomical parts. I find birds.

Satin GOld Sierra, plexi stabilized spalted Willow, CA finish. The greens in this Willow are from the black spalt lines bleeding b/c of the acetone.

Wow Billy!!! I like the pattern, but I have to say the match between the wood (with or without the bird) and the pen kit finish is amazing! Great choice! [:)]

Wow Billy, fantastic job, I have a globe willow in my back yard but when I have cut the branches from trimming and then I put them behind my storage shed for a year it still didn't spalt! It is just a basic cream color (which is nice to paint on though :)
You can sent that pen to me for a better look ok [:D]
