Wood Type Question

I bought a 5 lb. turners bag of wood from W.C. It tells the types of wood that may be in it, but how can I tell what is actually in it?

I made pens out of one of the pieces and really liked the finished look, but I don't know what it was.

Any good sites with pictures?

If it's one of those bags of pen blanks and only has a few different types ( several of each one in the bag) just post a picture with one of each here and someone will ID them for you.

Go to this site and look at the pictures of all the woods that are in your package . Should help you identify some of them .
