In case you missed this (as I nearly did) when it was quietly posted by BRobbins629:

Hopefully Mr. Robbins will be kind enough to provide some more details!

Caught!!! Thanks Jim - I had a posted a previous version of Mona, but really didn't like this photo. These are my demos for what I have tried with several pen styles and think I am finally happy with the personalized photo pen. My latest technique is to size the photo and print on label stock for wrapping around a tube. If the photo doesn't have the right aspect ratio, I put a black border around it before printing. 3 of the 4 pens have a black border. Then I just cast in PR (using my method of ultrasonics to degas the resin), cure in low pressure and turn into a pen.

Usually 5 to 10 minutes BEFORE I add catalyst. I try to see how many more bubbles are rising to the top. Usually I still see a few bubbles while in the ultrasonics, but these dissappear when I pressure cast. These were all cast at 5 - 10 psi, which is somewhat lower than some here, but I have been very fortunate to not get more than a few drops of resin if any in the tubes since I started using this procedure.
