This one is a 308 shell with a quilted maple top. I wanted to try a label so I decided to use the Battlefield Cross in rememberance of all who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I did make my own label and after I placed it, I did a coat of medium ca with the lathe of and hand turning it. I followed that with mm 1500-12000, then 3 coats of ca/blo, then two coats of renxax to prevent finger prints.

I know it seems like a lot, but I had to do all of that so I didnt feel the label.

The pen looks great, Did you make your own Label and what did you cover it with.
