Just playing around, and came up with a new collection of pens....
Size Does Matter :D
The first one weighs in at 8" long with a 1" girth, and is made
off a 7mm twist. Birdseye maple, stained in my Gibson "Sunburst" finish, with a lacquer coat.
Next, scaled down just a touch is my XXL calligraphy pen with a 5mm nib, in HOT Yellow dyed flame maple, engraving done by Mike Gibson from Sign Stop in Phoenix.
The TRECTS pen is shown for size comparisons, which is a large Statesmen
Thanks for looking, comments welcome :)

I think you pegged it Frank, just something different to grab ones attention. To see how big a pen I could make, yet still be functional.

Jonathan, while I prefer a resin pen and making them, some folks just like wood, and alot of it. Something they can put on their desk and probablly never use it, but a conversation piece.

Oh....batteries not included [:D]

Thanks, a relief. I almost didn't post that for fear of offending.
