second truestone pen

I made this pen yesterday after I finally figured out what pen kit to put it on. I was curious what the pen public think of the combo. I got the blank from Killer bees, it is nice to have a fellow penturner that lives close and can bounce ideas off of. Russell

I like it. I'm not crazy about Cigar style pens, but the gold in the blank looks good paired with the gold in the kit. Hopefully, I'll get to make it to the next Southeastern Chapter meeting (finally!) and see it in person. Nice job!

Hull is about 5-10 minutes outside of Athens. Been here almost five years. I'm actually from Snellville, which is probably more familiar to you. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the last meeting, because we had our daughter the day before.:biggrin:

I love tru-stone pens and this one is a beauty, I think a plainer kit such as the older Cigar style may have looked better with that `rich` blank!
