Here is the second pen ever. Turned 2 this weekend and thinking about going to do another. Have no idea yet. It is a Buckeye Burl on a Black Ti Cigar kit. I think it looks really good together.

From what I can tell it is looking good. I know when I started turning in April I wanted to turn one right after another. The pictures are a tad blurry in spots for me. I really like Buckeye burl. Have you tried any CA finishes yet, or any other kind of finish? Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Both pens are a CA finish. It's what my parents use so it's what I use. I haven't tried anything else. The buckeye has a coat of BLO on it before I used the CA to bring out the grain.
