Just bought a RIKON 50-112, it is a 4"x36" belt sander and a 6" disc. Don't Hate, I don't have much space, and this is plenty good for my needs at the time. I mainly plan to use the disk sander, and will only use the belt when i come across a need for it. Built a brand new table today to set it up on, along with a few other power tools. Set it up, plugged it in, and ducked for cover. The belt doesn't seem to have enough tension to stay on the thing. It doesn't actually come off, but for a second I was worried. It wants to run off the side, and sand up any parts it feels that RIKON should have, such as motor covers, etc. Does anyone have this model, and experience the same issue? I plan to touch base with RIKON on monday, but had a big day planed for tomorrow in the shop. Perhaps another ID 10 T error? This is my first disc/belt sander, so It could completely be me. As noted in any review you find, the instruction diagrams are blurry, and not much help. Any help is appreciated!
