Here is a pen that I made recently.
This is a praire rattlesnake from South Dakota on a 30.06 cartridge with
Buckeye burl accent. If you think the slim line is an entry level component set, you aren't trying hard enough to create something decent and VERY sought after.
I seriously had a hard time letting this one go.

I want to thank Don Ward for taking the time to cover the procedures
that work for him. I greatly appreciate your time and effort! Thanks Don!!!

I also want to thank Seamus for all of your advice and expertise offered to everyone online. You have taken the time to post instructions and videos to help avoid frustrating mistakes. You have been very helpful!

I mentioned Don and Seamus because they helped me specifically with this type of casting.

If you have ever posted a tip or sent a p.m. to a member, I want you to know that your efforts don't go unnoticed. It is you that make this such a great forum!!!

You're welcome Doug. Glad I could help out a little. I appreciate the kind words.

I like the pen also and it appears you have learned the process.

Do a good turn daily!
Don

I like what you did with the skin and the buckeye Burl. The finale just throws it of for me. Other than that it looks good
